We parked Donkey on the side of the road in a small village and went looking for the stall making Rolex (chapati (pancake) with egg 🥞🍳). Saw people working in their stalls, sat on a bench waiting, and finally our Rolex was sliced and served with beans.
Not the prettiest plate, but it tasted really good!

We arrived at the campsite and found an elephant standing at the entrance. After he moved on, we drove in and set up our little home for the night and then another elephant appeared, walking gently past our camp.
Feeling very small in the best possinle way. ☺️

Driving through Queen Elizabeth National Park on a terrible road and casually spotting kob, buffalo, and elephants along the way.
Bumpy, dusty, and definitely not smooth, but nothing beats sharing the road with wildlife like this.

Parked in a little fishing village. We were trying

Parked in a little fishing village. We were trying to find the stall making our Rolex (aka chapati (pancake) with fried egg 😅).
While we were looking, kids came running over. Some wanted to be picked up, others clung to our legs, grabbed our hands, and even walked along with us.
Once we reached the bench at the Rolex stall, they all settled around Miranda. One girl stood behind her, touching her hair and arms, while the girl next to her held her leg and told long stories.
Miranda replied in Dutch, but the little girl didn’t care, she just kept chatting away 😆
Meanwhile, Raimundo was just waiting to get our food!
